Clikn started in a shared Google Doc in late 2023. Four friends — a designer, two engineers, and a marketer — kept running into the same thing: every link-shortening tool on the market was either free-and-garbage or enterprise-and-overbuilt.
We wanted something in the middle. Something that felt like it was made by people who care about type, numbers, and the quiet satisfaction of a perfectly-scannable QR code.
Today we’re a remote-first team of eleven, serving 184,000 teams and shortening over 12 million URLs a month. We still read every support email. We still obsess over the kerning on the pricing page.
